Keynote Speaker Application

UPDATE: We are no longer taking applications for the 2021 conference.  Any future submissions received will be considered for the 2022 conference.

Keynote presentations are tentatively scheduled for October 29, 2021.

This is currently envisioned as a hybrid event that may be in person or may be virtual. We will only consider speakers who would be available for both in-person and virtual.

Our audience is HR professionals, ranging from emerging professionals to senior leaders. We are particularly interested in topics relating to leadership, diversity, and communication. Ideally, the presenter speaks to the topic through the lens of the unique culture of the Hawaii workplace.

If you would like to propose more than one topic, please submit a separate form for each topic.

Attendees at our 2020 virtual conference said:

  • There was excitement, enthusiasm and comradery.
  • The virtual conference was just as if you were there live!
  • I really enjoyed how interactive and engaging this virtual live event went.
  • There was a lot of fun engagement!
  • I loved the energy that all of the presenters had! It was easy to stay engaged.
  • It was fun, entertaining and interactive.

We want to get reactions like these to your session!

We expect our keynote speakers to draw attendees, and one way to draw is to be new to our audience. Therefore, our contract requires that you not speak for an organization in Hawaii, either in person or virtual, for 6 months before and 6 months after our conference. (If you are based in Hawaii, this requirement may be waived.)

As a non-profit organization our paid speakers regularly provide us special rates in exchange for being featured and promoted to a large audience of potential future clients.

In the event that we can safely have you fly in, you would be flying into the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu, Hawaii.
