HR Essentials

Target Audience: Non-HR business professionals, new HR professionals, HR professionals considering becoming certified, but want a preview first
 
Overview:  This program is designed to provide you with the skills necessary to create a stronger alignment between your organizational and HR goals, while building upon your knowledge of current HR practices. The program will help you to apply newly learned HR knowledge to practical activities similar to those required on the job.  Upon completion of the program you will be able to transfer the knowledge and skills learned from training to on-the-job tasks.

SHRM Certification Prep Class:   Semester Program

Target Audience: HR professionals who would like to become certified as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®)
Dates/Time of Year: Spring (January - May) and/or Fall (September - November)
 
Overview: SHRM Hawaii and UH Manoa Outreach College partner on this offering of a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) instructor-led preparation course. 
 
This 19-session instructor-led course is designed for individuals interested in preparing for the SHRM certification exam, achieving professional advancement, and building confidence for addressing today’s HR challenges. 
 
Our course combines expert instruction from local, industry-experts, with tools that are specifically designed for adult learning, to offer a comprehensive and effective way to prepare for success on your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam. The SHRM Learning System offers personalized learning that adjusts to your unique learning style. You’ll learn to apply HR knowledge and competencies to real-life situations and maximize exam readiness with practice questions, including 160 retired exam questions, as well as interactive study tools.
